Why is it that James Blunt gets 5 nominations for the Brits?! Are the public really this stupid? And how did Amarillo make it anywhere near the best singles nominations? Especially when there are so many other great songs that missed out (Random Examples - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor, Do You Want To, I Predict A Riot). Those singles nominations are an insult to british music. Although on a nicer note, it is good to see that there were a number of nominations for bands that deserve to be there, like Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs and Hard-Fi (and they managed to sneak the Arctic Monkeys in there somewhere. They'll be in there more next year I'm sure).
Oh, And another thing, how the hell did Kanye get nominated for best Album? I thought albums had to have Music on them, and Rap is not music.
